Bakers And Roasters

Waking up super hungry and envisioning a superb breakfast definitely sounds like me, so whenever I’m in Amsterdam my first thought for a breakie is Bakers & Roasters.

And when you walk in stomach rumbling, you immediately realise that there’s something about this place. A crazy line, and super busy, kinda loud hipster atmosphere that matches perfectly the Amsterdam vibes, and the smell of fresh brewed coffee mixed with bacon, eggs and pancakes.

So when you finally take a sit, mouth watering with all that fresh looking food being served next you, you are already in a happy place and ready to order from their extensive and super varied menu that has plenty of vegetarian choices.

I went there two mornings in a row, so one day I went for the American Pancakes Stack that were super fluffy, with delicious crackling bacon and abundant maple syrup. The ultimate food porn.

The next day I came back with my husband and we went full on brunch, with champagne, orange juice, smoked salmon stacks for me and eggs benny for him and yes some coffee/capuccino to set the brunch mood. And all of that needless to say, absolutely delicious.

Bakers and Roasters Amsterdam

Bakers & Roasters has a very fast paced kitchen that is sorta in the open, and super efficient and friendly staff that prepares fresh juices and coffee real quick.

So if you’re in Amsterdam around The Pijp neighbourhood or the Centrum make sure you check them out. There will always be a bit of a waiting if you don’t reserve. But the majority of tables are for walk- ins so don’t worry, you can definitely get a table to gorge yourself with their delicious food and the fall in love with this Amsterdam trendy spot.
